These clubs may have noticeable cosmetic "dings" to the paint on the crown. All are perfectly playable and structurally sound. Many have never hit a golf ball. PXG 0811x Driver ... Low Spin. Incredible distance. The exceptionally low CG position and precision weighting system create optimal launch conditions for killer ball flight and incredible distance!
• The 0811X has a variable-thickness face that is thicker in the center and thinner around the perimeter of the hitting area. That saves weight and allows the face to flex more efficiently across a larger portion of the hitting area, so ball speed is protected on mis-hits.
• The 0811X produces about the same ball speed as the original 0811, but it creates 600-800 rpm less spin and launches the ball higher. As a result it produces 8-12 more yards of carry distance.
• This 0811X has 11 adjusting screws in the sole. Adjusting the silver-toned tungsten weights to the back position creates a neutral weight bias and increases the moment of inertia for enhanced forgiveness. When the tungsten weights are in the forward area, backspin decreases and drives will have a lower initial launch angle. The 0811X can be set with either a draw or fade bias by putting the tungsten in the heel (draw) or toe areas (fade).
